Starve a Vampire & Donate Blood!
The CW Network, Alloy Media + Marketing and The American Red Cross are teaming up for their 'Starve a Vampire, Donate Blood' initiative, which encourages students to donate blood through the American Red Cross to help save lives. The campaign, which will hold blood drives at more than 230 U.S. high schools and colleges, is themed around the new CW series The Vampire Diaries.
The stars of new series are scheduled to visit the Georgia Tech blood drive on August 26. Each student who participates in the blood drives will walk away with special promotional items, including customized t-shirts. The Vampire Diaries Premieres Thursday, September 10 at 8 p.m ET on the CW. For more information, visit www.RedCross.org.
