NFL fans get ready because the 2009 season is upon us. The season officially kicks off today, September 10th, with the opening game between the Super Bowl Champ Pittsburgh Steelers and the Tennessee Titans. The game will be on NBC at 8:30pm ET.

The Black Eyed Peas and country singer Tim McGraw will headline a big pre-game concert in downtown Pittsburgh. The Pittsburgh Steelers are coming off their 6th Super Bowl victory - most in NFL history - when they defeated the Arizona Cardinals back in February.

If you plan to attend the festivities, here's a few details. The Point State Park near the stadium will open at 4:00pm ET, but be prepared for heavy security. Tim McGraw will perform first at 5:30pm, followed by the Black Eyed Peas at 6:40pm. Both the Peas and McGraw will perform again at 8:00pm as part of the NFL's live performance to kickoff the game.
