According to the busy salespeople at Halloween costume shops we visited, it's Michael Jackson. With just one day left until Halloween 2009, the late King of Pop is clearly the #1 costume choice this year among teens.

Vampires and werewolves are also popular, thanks to the success of the Twilight series.

And though there are no ready-made Edward, Jacob or Bella costumes for sale at costume chains or party supply stores (how'd they miss out on that opportunity?), the salespeeps told us many of you are stopping by to ask!

Other scary-themed faves this Halloween include Esther, the creepy girl from Orphan, Max or a Wild Thing from Where the Wild Things Are.

Many teens are going "funny" instead of scary this Halloween. "Funny" as in "a bologna sandwich," one 15-year-old boy told JSYK (Um, okay). Other funny costumes we heard about: a bag of marshmallows, a "cereal" killer, a box of mac and cheese or a basket of dirty laundry.

More than a few teens told us they were dressing up as Kanye West and Taylor Swift.Haha. %Poll-36289%
