An eighth grade Ohio student was suspended from school because of his football-inspired haircut, reports the Associated Press.
Dustin Reader, a young Cincinnati Bengals fan, got the NFL team's stripes and a "B'' shaved in his hair to show his team pride, but when he showed up to class the following Monday, he was put into in-school suspension.
The Hamilton, Ohio school said its code of conduct does not allow "extreme and distracting hairstyles."
Dustin's father said his son just wanted to show his support for his favorite team. School officials have kept Dustin on in-school suspension until his hair grows back or he changes his cut.
