Looks like Amanda Seyfried is well on her way to achieving rom-com "it girl" status.

Not only does the Mamma Mia star have a tearjerker on the way with Channing Tatum called Dear John -check out a pic of them kissing and the trailer here.

But she'll also star in the romantic comedy, Letters To Juliet in May 2010.

Check out the trailer below, it features Taylor Swift's 'Love Story.' Get it? Romeo and Juliet!

In the flick, Amanda's character Sophie (different from the Sophie she played in Mamma Mia) travels to Verona, Italy where people have been leaving letters with questions about love for Juliet - from Shakespeare's famous play. Sophie accidentally finds a letter that turns her life upside down when she decides to answer it. The movie also stars Vanessa Redgrave and Christopher Egan.
