Revenge seeking vampire Victoria doesn't say very much in Twilight and New Moon, but the actress who now plays her in Eclipse is finally opening up.
"It's such an absorbing story that I just felt very lucky, given the unfortunate circumstances surrounding it, that I was just invited in," Bryce Dallas Howard tells Examiner.com. "I hope that Eclipse continues this trend of being really reverent of what Stephenie created with the books."
What's the "unfortunate circumstances" she's referring to? Bryce was caught in the middle of a heated controversy when Summit Entertainment, the studio behind Twilight, fired Rachelle Lefevre, who was cast as Victoria in the first two installments, over scheduling conflicts.
But now Bryce has begun to let loose her excitement about joining the Twilight franchise. What juicy secrets from the Eclipse set can she spill?
"I don't want to give anything away, but Victoria has a life span is what I'll say."
As for Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner, Bryce calls their friendship "genuine" and continues, "There is a lot going on around them. There's a lot of attention and scrutiny, but I'm truly moved by how solid they've remained in their values and belief systems and their caring of one another throughout all of that. You hope for that in a franchise."
