Selena Gomez got to work with plenty of familiar friends on Wizards of Waverly Place The Movie, but there was one co-star who totally freaked her out -- Ruby, the multi-colored parrot.

In this clip from the Wizards of Waverly Place The Movie DVD, Selena explains that Ruby is friendly with everyone but her. "Ruby is beautiful; she like cuddles with you," she tells co-star Jake T. Austin. "It's very sweet. She didn't with me -- apparently I don't have a way with birds."

Later Ruby flapped her wings upon Selena's shoulder, and the 17-year-old star admitted, "That parrot scared me. It was beautiful, but I was terrified."
