Jordin Sparks is officially no longer a teenager. The former American Idol champ celebrates her 20th birthday today, and what a year she's had!
The Arizona native sang the national anthem at the 2009 NFC Championship game between the Arizona Cardinals and the Philadelphia Eagles at the top of the year, just before performing at Inaugural Ball on the day President Obama was sworn into office. What an honor!
Jordin also released her sophomore album, 'Battlefield,' from which the title track became an international hit. The pop/R&B singer opened for the Jonas Brothers and Britney Spears, and then became a VH1 Diva in the fall.
Of course, the do-gooder also lent her time to Being Girl's online sleepover event and Allstate's X the Text campaign, both of which benefited the well-being of teens. For the holidays, Jordin rocked the Jingle Ball circuit with Justin Bieber, and now she's earned some time off before the new year begins. Happy birthday, Jordin!
