Kristen Stewart, who you may know as Robert Pattinson's girlfriend has received a coveted BAFTA nomination. And she'll probably win. Here's why we think so, along with an explanation of what the heck a BAFTA is.

A BAFTA -- British Academy of Film and Television Arts -- award is the British version of the Oscars. Kristen's up for this year's Orange Rising Star Award, which honors an actor or actress who has "begun to capture the imagination of the public as a star in the making."

KStew's facing some major competition. British actress Carey Mulligan, who's dating Shia LaBeouf, is also nominated. Shia won the Orange Rising Star Award in 2008.

But Kristen has one huge advantage -- Twi-hards can vote online here. In fact, they're probably crashing the website as we type. The Orange Star winner will be announced on February 21. If Kristen wins, she'll most likely attend the awards in London... will Rob be her date to the awards?
Or maybe Rob and Kristen will make their debut as a couple on the red carpet at this year's Oscars! We've heard rumors that a sneak peek of Eclipse might be shown during the telecast to boost ratings.
