This week, rumors swirled that Stephenie Meyer, the author behind The Twilight Saga, was calling all the shots on whether the series' final novel, Breaking Dawn, would be split into two movies.
So there's no confusion, Stephenie set the record straight on her official Web site. "Just a quick note on the subject of the Breaking Dawn film: there is no drama over whether the book should be one movie or two. My personal feeling is that it would be very difficult to cram the whole story into one movie (as I've said in many interviews previous to this), but if a great way of doing that surfaces, I'm all for it. Two or one, whichever way fits the story best is fine by me, and everyone I've spoken with at Summit seems to feel the same way."
As for stars of the movie, they're keeping mum over the great movie debate. Booboo Stewart, who plays the youngest werewolf Seth Clearwater, spilled the beans over the summer saying, "I heard there's going to be three more movies: Eclipse, Breaking Dawn, and there should be one more." But we talked to Booboo earlier this week, and he's totally staying tight-lipped on the movie's status...for now.
