While many stars are tweeting about the crisis in Haiti, Jake T. Austin's commentary has landed him in the hot seat. On Thursday, the 15-year-old Wizards of Waverly Place star wrote a tweet (or should we say tw**t?) in which he used a... colorful word to describe the earthquake aftermath.
Fans immediately flooded the actor with disapproving comments, saying that Jake is a role model and shouldn't swear. Jake responded by asking his followers to stop sending him messages, and defended himself by tweeting: "I am a person ya know"... and "Im an actor, not a 'Disney star.'"
Does Jake have a point? Are Disney actors more responsible for their actions because they're affiliated with the squeaky-clean brand? Miley Cyrus caused controversy after her pole dancing routine at the Teen Choice Awards last August. Jake's supporters say that he's a normal 15-year-old an that his tweet was no big deal. Or was it?
