Kristen Stewart stars in a new movie called The Yellow Handkerchief, but don't expect to see Bella Swan on the screen.

In the new indie flick, Kristen plays Martine, a 15-year-old girl who's all about jean shorts, messy hair and her geeky crush. A far cry from Bella's sense of style.

Twi-fans also might need a moment to get used to KStew's southern drawl in this movie, which may sound weird at first, but the film is set in Louisiana, so it makes total sense.

Besides trying desperately to get her crush to notice her (nowhere near the stunts Bella pulled in New Moon to get Edward to re-appear though), Kristen's character also ends up helping an older man make sense of his life. The movie explores its characters' need for acceptance...sans vampires or werewolves. Sorry, Twi-hards. Check out her questionable on-screen fashion in the photos below.
