the 'Mad' Look

Alice in Wonderland wouldn't be complete without an awesome soundtrack, so in addition to the musical score, Disney Records is releasing a special 16-track compilation album called 'Almost Alice,' featuring original songs by Avril Lavigne, 3OH!3, Metro Station, and All Time Low -- just to name a few.

The image of Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter is too good to waste, so it's no wonder why execs chose to feature the crazy character on the album's cover. The background could use a splash of color, but we back this move.

According to the record label, Avril Lavigne will begin shooting a video for her song, 'Alice (Underground)' this month. It's also the featured end credit track of the Tim Burton film. And for all you Metro Station fans out there, you'll be able to hear their song, 'Where's My Angel,' when it premieres next week.

'Almost Alice' will be available on March 2, along with the Alice in Wonderland Original Motion Picture Soundtrack, which hits shelves the same day. Who else contributed a song to 'Almost Alice'? Find out after the jump!
