Glee is getting ready to air in Japan, and to help promote the show, Fox is running a set of super cute and hilarious TV commercials, starring Akebono Taro, a retired Hawaiian sumo wrestler known for being the first American-born wrestler to reach the highest rank in sumo.

In the first promo, a young sumo wrestler is defeated by his opponent who laughs in his face and calls him a "loser." Enter Akebono, who, as one of the tallest and heaviest wrestlers in recorded history, offers inspiration with a rendition of 'Don't Stop Believin'' -- complete with backup dancers.

Akebono isn't much of a singer, but the commercial is pretty memorable, not to mention as quirky and charming as the show itself. We can't wait to see what kind of promos we get in the States when the new Glee episodes air in April. We hope they're as funny as this one! Watch a video of the Japanese promo and weigh in with your thoughts after the jump.
