Chloe Moretz is using her everyday hobby to make a difference in the lives of the Haiti earthquake victims.

"When I saw the photos from Haiti, I was so heartbroken, I cried," she told us. "It devastated me so much to think of these poor people that had their life and then it all just crumbled in front of them, literally."

The 12-year-old star of the upcoming 'Diary of a Wimpy Kid' started Crochet for Haiti! with her older brother Colin.

"My brother and I, we love crocheting," she says. "We decided it would be a great really touches my heart that I get to help these people out. "

Chloe and Colin's creations, which include a crocheted heart necklace, are available to order via their non-profit Facebook page with all the money benefitting Haitian relief.

"He made this little heart and I was like, 'Oh my gosh, that's absolutely perfect!' and so we've been making hearts every day after I'm done with school -- I'm doing it right now, she says. "He also made crazy little creatures and we sell those too." Cute. Way to go, Chloe!
