Carrie Underwood is getting her very own character on Sesame Street! The Grammy-winning country singer will voice Carrie Underworm, a super sweet singing worm, in four upcoming episodes of the popular PBS kids series.

What kind of music does Carrie Underworm sing? Country, of course! The 26-year-old American Idol alum even recorded a song called 'The Worm Anthem,' specifically for the show.

Carrie joins a long list of celebrities -- including Beyonce, Alicia Keys and Michelle Obama -- who have made guest appearances on Sesame Street. It's a really cool honor to be asked to appear on the show.

NASCAR racer Jeff Gordon will introduce Carrie Underworm (who also shares a scene with Oscar the Grouch) on Thursday, February 11. Carrie will appear on the March 17, April 8, and April 26 episodes, as well. Watch a clip of Carrie Underworm's big debut after the jump.
