On Saturday, Glee star Chris Colfer had a gleek-out of his own. The actor attended the TED 2010 Conference in Long Beach, CA where Avatar director James Cameron, among many others, was featured as a guest speaker.
"At the TED conference!" Chris tweeted. "Always been a goal! Such an honor to be in the same room with the world's greatest minds!"
The TED Conference stands for Technology, Entertainment, Design. The annual event invites notable speakers to talk about various topics in the sciences and art with a focus on philanthropy and social consciousness. The goal of the conference is to inspire people to think about what they can do to to help change the world.
This year, James Cameron's session was on Wisdom. According to TED's website, the man behind the revolutionary 3D technology used in the blockbuster film Avatar said in his speech: "Curiosity -- it's the most powerful thing you own."
