Bristol Palin is already an ambassador for the Candie's Foundation's mission to prevent teen pregnancy, and now she's guest-starring on The Secret Life of the American Teenager to give Amy some first-hand advice on motherhood. In an episode set to air this summer, Bristol plays herself and becomes fast friends with Amy (played by Shailene Woodley) when they meet at a music program for teen moms.

"I am thrilled to be on this show and to be a part of a program that educates teens and young adults about the consequences of teen pregnancy," Bristol says.

The 19-year-old daughter of Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin became pregnant with her son Tripp when she was 17. SLAT's executive producer calls Bristol "the most famous teenage mother in America" and continues, "I think she will bring additional attention to the issues facing teen parents that we've been exploring for a couple of seasons now."
