Although it was pouring in London on Thursday, it didn't stop the stars of Alice in Wonderland from attending the world premiere of the highly anticipated 3D film. Mia Wasikowska, Anne Hathaway, Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, Avril Lavigne and, of course, director Tim Burton were all on hand to celebrate the big event.

But that's not all. Prince Charles, heir to the British throne, and his wife Camilla also attended the premiere at the Odeon Leicester Square, making it a truly royal affair. The stars of the film -- as well as Avril, who sings the movie's theme song 'Alice' -- all got to shake hands and speak with the royal guests, decked out in stunning evening wear.

Mia rocked a floor-skimming Valentino Couture gown, while Anne sported a bronze Vivienne Westwood sequined dress. And Helena dressed for the occasion with a layered white number, complete with a red heart embellishment.
