It's not a done deal yet, but Logan Lerman admits he's "in talks" to take the reins from Tobey Maguire and play Peter Parker in the upcoming fourth Spider-Man movie.
"To be honest, it's a role that any young actor is dying to play and I'm just hoping to be considered," Logan tells MTV. "I'm just a huge fan."
If Logan, who's best known for starring in Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief, signs on the dotted line, he better gear up for more red carpets, camera flashes, screaming fans, and scripts coming his way. A franchise with as many fans as Spidey will thrust him into the big leagues when it comes to recognition and scoring future coveted movie roles.
In the flick, Peter Parker will return to high school. We know Logan can successfully pull off the acting, but part of this film's awesome factor is that it's going to be shot in 3-D -- possibly even with the cameras James Cameron used to create Avatar.
With talk of Breaking Dawn possibly being filmed the same way, do you think 3-D mania is getting out of hand?
