According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 4.4-magnitude earthquake hit parts of L.A. on Tuesday morning at around 4:00 a.m. While no major damage occurred as a result of the quake, some celebrities did get a rude awakening.

"Loud bangs from stuff falling from the earthquake last night woke me up," Megan Park tweeted. "Naturally, my first assumption was 'robber' so I freaked out."

Make It Or Break It's Chelsea Hobbs thought she was the only one who felt the shocks, but Glee star Chris Colfer had a similar reaction to Megan's. "I'm so happy that was just an earthquake this morning," he tweeted. "I thought I was having a Paranormal Activity moment."

Co-star Kevin McHale also felt the quake, but it wasn't enough to rattle his Glee castmate Jenna Ushkowitz. In a short Twitter conversation, the two talked about their different reactions to the seismic event.

"Always fun to wake up to an earthquake in pitch black and think that it's just part if a dream," Kevin said. "Up and gettin ready for work!"

"Earthquake? Really? Slept Right through it!" Jenna replied.

Thankfully, there were no reports of injuries or power outages in the L.A. area, although the quake did have people worried, especially in the wake of the recent earthquakes in Chile and Haiti. Do you live in L.A.? Were you woken up by the earthquake? If so, tell us what it felt like to you in the comments below.
