Who wouldn't feel awkward making out with their best friend in front of people? Um, Lea Michele, that's who. When Glee returns on April 13, Lea's real-life bestie Jonathan Groff will play her latest love interest named Jesse St. James, lead vocalist of McKinley's rival glee club.
Macking it isn't anything new for these two. No, they didn't date, but they did star together in the Broadway show Spring Awakening (check out the old photo we found of them) and their characters kissed every night.
"It had been a really long time [since kissing], so it was interesting when we had to do it for the first time on Glee. But we had also done it so many times before that we sort of just jumped right back into it," Lea tells E!.
Although Lea confesses, "I do think Rachel's heart is with Finn," Rachel and Jesse will be making sweet music. Together, they'll sing a duet of Lionel Richie's "Hello."
