On April 4, a 7.2-magnitude earthquake struck Baja California, near the Mexico/United States border. It's been reported that two people died, and the effect of the quake -- the largest to hit the area since 1992 -- was felt in many U.S. cities, such as San Diego, Los Angeles, Phoenix, and Los Angeles.

Celebs jumped on their Twitter accounts right after feeling the shake. Chelsea Staub tweeted, "We just felt the earthquake in ARIZONA!" Also home in Arizona, Jordin Sparks said, "The couch I was sitting on definitely just swayed a little bit. Aftershock? Whoa."

In California, The Secret Life of the American Teenager's Megan Park typed, "My first earthquake! SO strong in Palm Springs. Everyone got dramatic about it and ran outside screaming, kids cried, I'll never forget it!"

Likewise, this was Cody Linley's first quake. "I was laying in bed when the earthquake hit, my bed started shaking, my clothes we were swaying in my closet! Ive never felt one before!!"
If you live in one of these areas, did you feel the ground shake? Was it scary?
