Raven-Symoné
joined forces with Pepsi and Feeding America to provide food for 2 million people on April 20. The singer/actress joined more than 1,400 PepsiCo employees to distribute food at 30 local food banks across the United States.

"Hunger or going hungry should not be a choice," Raven-Symoné says in the effort's 'We Inspire' PSA. During the event, volunteers organized boxes of food that were donated to soup kitchens, churches and other organizations with food programs. Raven-Symoné was in charge of PepsiCo's donation of over 10,000 cases of Quaker Oats products, and seeing their delivery through.
According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, approximately 49 million Americans don't have enough to eat. That means one in six people face hunger each day. And this is not something that just affects the homeless -- each year, 37 million people in our country rely on food banks, including children, seniors and low-income families.
