Many of us have been guilty of returning a book or DVD to the library late. One teen in Colorado will probably never, ever let that happen again. His minor offense landed him behind bars. For reals.

After 19-year-old Aaron Henson missed his court case over an overdue DVD from the library, Municipal Judge James Kimmel issued a warrant for his arrest. Aaron was later stopped for speeding and that's when police discovered the warrant and off with the cops he went.

Sounds pretty absurd, huh? It is, especially since Aaron already returned the DVD about a week before the warrant was issued. In fact, the teen moved so he never even received his court summons.
Officials decided to fire Municipal Judge Kimmel, a judge for nearly 30 years, over the matter, despite Aaron not wanting that to happen. They claimed 71 similar incidents happened where a warrant was issued, but not properly served.
