We're used to reading random posts on Twitter from celebs saying where they're grabbing lunch or what movie they're seeing, so when Ashton Kutcher sent out a pretty profound tweet, we took notice.

He told his over four and a half million followers, "If we all follow 1 person from another culture, country, language & make effort 2 translate them, we can rewire the global peace process."

This isn't the first time Ashton used Twitter to make a difference. Just last April, he competed against CNN in a race to see who could get one million followers first. Ashton won and so he donated $100,000 to the Malaria No More fund, an organization that distributes nets to stop the spread of the deadly disease.

One year later, Ashton's still supporting the cause. He retweeted Ryan Seacrest's message promoting this year's Idol Gives Back episode that also raises money to help prevent new cases of malaria.
