Miley Cyrus is going wild in her new video. The 17-year-old star has pulled out all the stops for her first single, 'Can't Be Tamed,' from her brand-new album of the same name, and we like it.

There are no remnants of Miley's Hannah Montana past here. In the video, the singer/actress plays an exotic bird that's the subject of a highbrow auction. She's held in a giant birdcage while onlookers snap photos and gasp, but soon breaks out of the cage and, well, spreads her wings.

Hailed as "the next step in the evolution of Miley," according to Just Jared Jr., the video incorporates all the edgy flare she described last year when talking about her new sound. The title track of the record will be available on iTunes on May 18, while 'Can't Be Tamed' hits stores nationwide on June 22. Watch Miley's new video after the jump!
