Mark your calendars, Twi-fans. Summit Entertainment has announced that the official release date for Breaking Dawn will be November 18, 2011.

The fourth installment in the vampire series will be directed by Bill Condon, who recently wrote an open letter to Twilight fans, which he posted on Facebook. Whether Breaking Dawn will be released as one or two films still remains to be seen.

The animated sequel Happy Feet 2 is one of the few films to also share the November 18 release date right now, but we have a hunch that Breaking Dawn will dominate the box office that weekend no matter what its competition is like.

In other Twilight news, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning stopped by The Oprah Winfrey Show on Wednesday to film their interview with the talk show mogul. As an extra special surprise, the studio audience was treated to an advanced screening of Eclipse. We're so jealous! Eclipse opens in theaters on June 30. %Poll-45964%
