'Glee' Debate: Is Kurt Being Too Tough on His Dad?
Two weeks ago on Glee, Kurt played matchmaker with his dad and Finn's mom. Then after Mr. Hummel started jock-talking with Finn, Kurt decided it was time to put the ax on his love spell.
We love Kurt, but it wasn't cool for him to play with his dad's emotions like that. And this was just the beginning of emotionally-charged scenes between Kurt and dad Burt.
Sidenote: Kurt and Burt, Quinn and Finn, the soon to be Bryan Ryan...enough with the rhyming game, peeps!
"Kurt is so strong," Chris Colfer says about his character. "He's more concerned with being okay in his dad's eyes than with anyone else. And that relationship definitely gets stronger. Some of the best stuff is coming up for it. There's a storyline that will top 'Preggers' and 'Wheels' completely, emotion-wise."
Off-screen, Chris raves that his TV pops, Mike O'Malley, tops all others. "It's amazing how much we just connected just right off the bat. And really, we've only actually been around each other for seven calendar days, so it's pretty cool that we can have that much chemistry on-screen. Burt is just a cool dad. He's just a great dad. Probably the best on TV."
