In the record books under "youngest person to sail around the world solo, nonstop, and unassisted," Jessica Watson's name is officially listed. The 16-year-old Australia native spent the last seven months sailing her yacht named Ella's Pink Lady across the oceans, and today she finally stepped foot back on land.

Tens of thousands people cheered Jessica's May 15 homecoming into Sydney Harbor. Her final stretch wasn't an easy one, though -- on her last day at sea she battled turbulent conditions and massive waves.

In anticipation of seeing her family and supporters after her 210 day trip, Jessica said, "I'm so excited and everyone keeps telling me how big it is going to be. It will be so good to see everyone again. I can't wait."
