Could you imagine Robert Pattinson rapping Ludacris' part on The Biebs' album? That could have been a possibility if he followed his teenage musical aspirations.

"I used to want to be a rapper when I was, like, 14," the vamp reveals. He decided against taking his career down that route, but RPatz still dabbles in the music industry. His song "Never Think" is on the Twilight soundtrack, but bummer, there are no plans to hear him sing a tune for Eclipse.

It's kind of surprising that Rob wanted to pursue this musical genre considering who he states as his musical influences. "I like a lot of old blues. I really love Van Morrison. I've been obsessed with Van Morrison for years. [Also] a guy called Terry Reed, a 70s singer."

The British pop icon also credits his friends for introducing him to new songs. "A lot of my friends are musicians, so I listen to their stuff a lot."
He's probably referring to his musically gifted co-stars. Jackson Rathbone spills, "There were a lot of nights where I would play guitar, Nikki Reed and Kristen Stewart would sing along, or Rob would play guitar and sing, and we'd all sing with him, and I'd add a little harmonica here and there. We were the Cullen Family Band."
