Changes are on the horizon next season for Fox. Simon Cowell (and his sarcasm) will leave judges row, and American Idol's on-air time is getting reduced. In January, AI's performance episode will run for 90 minutes, and the following night's results show will be 30 minutes.

What all this means is that the suits at Fox are Gleeks, too, and prepping for a huge takeover by Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, and the rest of the cast of Glee. Unlike their debut season, the show won't go on an extended break for season two. Plus, Glee's February 2011 premiere will air right after the Super Bowl, bringing in millions of viewers.

Is part of Glee's addicting charm its hilarious guest-stars? Check out a clip from tonight's episode when former glee club star -- and Schuenemy -- Bryan Ryan returns to McKinley High. Hello, mullet! Neil Patrick Harris mixes '80s music and cheesy magic tricks...something New Directions should attempt next?
"I sing a few [songs], one of which is 'Dream On' by Aerosmith," Neil says. "And yeah, that's me hitting the high note at the end, FYI."
