On Friday morning, thousands of screaming fans flooded New York's Rockefeller Plaza to watch Justin Bieber perform as a part of the TODAY Show's summer concert series. Some camped out overnight to see the 16-year-old pop star sing, and it was all worth it.

Justin performed a sweet set of hits, including 'Baby,' 'One Time,' 'Somebody to Love,' and 'Never Say Never.' At first, JB began the performance in a denim jacket and red hoodie, but after a few songs, the 77-degree weather got the best of the Bieb, causing him to strip down to a cool, all-white ensemble.

In his interview with Matt Lauer, Justin talked about his fame, fans and the future of his career. "I want to be an artist that doesn't just come out with one song and then they're done," he said. "I want to be able to, like you said, have longevity. Have my fans grow with me and not just be a teen artist, but kind of move up and be an adult artist."
This isn't the first time Justin has performed at Rockefeller Plaza. The Canadian singer stopped by in October 2009 to promote his first album 'My World.' Now, JB's got two album's under his belt and is ready to embark on a full U.S. tour.

Check out Justin's live performance of 'Never Say Never' from the TODAY Show. Do you think it sounds just as good without Jaden Smith's rap breakdown? Watch both versions below.
