Rookie of the Year, the stage name for singer-songwriter Ryan Dunson's acoustic indie rock project, has just released a new album called 'The Most Beautiful,' and we're excited to bring you the first single from the record, 'Take These Words.'

The airy ballad, which features vocals by Erika Lauren from MTV's The Real World: D.C., is a reflection of a couple that knows the end is near. "'Take These Words' is about two people who care about each other, but deep down they know a relationship would never be able to work," Ryan tells JSYK. "I feel like we've all been there at some point in our lives -- and it hurts, but looking back you realize you did the right thing."

Listen to the new single below and let us know what you think in the comments below. Rookie of the Year will be hitting the road with School Boy Humor and The After Party on June 23 in support of his new album, 'The Most Beautiful,' which is will be available in stores and on iTunes on Tuesday, June 8.
