"The concept behind the video was a collaboration between myself and Brandon Fake, the video's production manager," Josh tells JSYK. "The concept was created in response to the lyrics of 'Your Eyes,' but was given an ending 'twist' to reflect the general theme of the album."
Alamance had a great time on the shoot, despite a little run-in with the law. "We had a lot of interesting moments during all three days of filming," Josh recalls. "We did get chased away by the cops right after we got the 'perfect take' in Central Park for climbing the trees."
The band also shot scenes in the heart of New York City, where the band was mobbed by onlookers. "We got swamped while filming in Times Square with tons of tourists asking us which celebrities we were," Josh adds.
And before you ask, the girl in the video is Josh's girlfriend, Kate Janela, for whom the song was written. How sweet is that? Watch 'Your Eyes' below and pick up your copy of Alamance's new album, 'In the Moment,' on iTunes on June 15.
