On June 7, Apple announced the iPhone 4 (pictured), the fourth model in its cherished phone series. With a slew of new features that have revolutionized the product all together, Apple fans have something new to drool about. But something else happened too -- the California-based tech company dropped the price of its 3GS model to $99.
The iPhone 3GS came one year ago as an upgrade of the 3G. It includes video capabilities, a tap-to-focus camera feature and is an overall faster phone than the 3G version. The 8GB 3GS was originally priced at $199, but is now available for half the price since the release of the iPhone 4. That's really good news for people who have been dying to get their hands on the device.
Will you be getting an iPhone now that the price has been reduced? The 3GS is an awesome phone that has only been out for a year, so those who want one will be super happy. However, other people might want the newest technology. The iPhone 4 introduces multi-tasking and FaceTime, which is basically phone-to-phone video chat. Users are also able to organize their apps by type, and browse the Web with its new Retina display.
But the iPhone 4 starts at $199 for the 16GB version, so you'll at least be spending $100 more than you would on a 3GS. So, if you're planning on getting an iPhone, tell us -- which one will you buy? %Poll-48347%
