Nikki Reed is joining forces with DoSomething.org and Staples to help students get the back-to-school supplies they need. More than 13 million kids cannot afford basic supplies like pencils, binders and notebooks, and now the Twilight star is lending a helping hand to the cause.

Nikki will be participating in the third annual Staples/Do Something 101 School Supply Drive where teens can donate supplies at their local Staples store from July 4 through September 18. In fact, she's even filmed a special PSA for the campaign, which you can watch after the jump.

Staples is donating more than $125,000 worth of school supplies to the drive, so that is a great start, but there's still plenty more that can be done. Visit DoSomething101.org to find out where you can drop off supplies and get info on how to organize your own local drive.
