Few celebs are more outraged about the gallons upon gallons of oil leaking into the ocean right this moment than Ian Somerhalder.

"[BP C.E.O.] Tony Hayward is literally basking on his yacht right now, in Europe, while these people suffer and all the animals die," says The Vampire Diaries star.

Taking action into his own hands, Ian has partnered with Go Green Mobile Power, a company that creates mobile green power. Together, they're looking to change the entertainment industry forever.

"It takes a lot of power to run a movie set," the Louisiana native explains. "We go through a lot of fuel. It's harmful, and we can start changing that a little bit. We can get rid of these noisy, stinky, disgusting gas generators...We'll be taking major productions green, like big concerts and music festivals. Greening the Vampire Diaries set is a priority for me, which we're going to be doing this year."
We think your idea is brilliant, Ian, and long overdue.
