No matter where you turn, people are talking about Twilight, including U.S. senators! During her confirmation hearings this week, Supreme Court nominee Elena Kagan appeared before the Senate and was presented with many topics, including how she feels about the case of Edward vs. Jacob.

In the video clip, Senator Amy Klobuchar talks about taking her children to see a midnight showing of Eclipse. With a smile, she then asks the former dean of Harvard Law School, who hasn't seen the film, about her thoughts on vampires vs. werewolves. "I wish you wouldn't," she replies.

Elena Kagan is the first woman to hold the office of Solicitor General of the United States, and, if confirmed, she'll be the fourth woman to ever sit on the U.S. Supreme Court.

But was her response to Senator Klobuchar a diss on Stephenie Meyer's beloved series? Or was she just trying to change the subject so she didn't have to talk about something she's unfamiliar with? Check out the clip and decide for yourself.
