When Harry Potter takes its final bow, how do you think the iconic series will come to a close? We know with a glimpse almost two decades into the future, and now Tom Felton is providing a bit more insight.
"I had a monologue prepared, but time was short," the actor who plays malicious Draco Malfoy joked around. Being serious, he says the epilogue, which jumps 19 years ahead, "was all in the presence and the look. This is the idea, that's what they told me. Hopefully that reads. It was a lot of fun."
Part of the reason filming the final scene was so fun for Tom is because he got to do it with his real-life girlfriend Jade Olivia. Jade's a stunt assistant on Harry Potter, and Tom admits that when it came to playing his on-screen wife Astoria Malfoy, "She was at first reluctant, but I pulled her arm and twisted it."
The couple filmed together for three days, and he describes his girlfriend's aging for the role by saying, "If that's what she looks like, I'm doing pretty well for myself."
Time, however, isn't so favorable for Draco. "I look terrible. The years have not been kind to me in the slightest."
