Lately, rumors surrounding the second season of Glee have been popping up quicker than Justin Bieber can tweet.
So we're setting the record straight. Right here. Right now.
The Britney episode is so on, but unfortch for the Britster, she isn't. "We're doing an episode about Britney Spears, but she's not on the show," Glee's head honcho Ryan Murphy dishes. "It's not like anything we've ever done. There's a twist on it."
This tribute episode will focus on ditzy Cheerio Brittany (for obvi reasons), and we'll even hear Heather Morris sing two of the pop princess' hits.
Next up: Javier Bardem, who just recently married Penelope Cruz, is a confirmed guest star for next season. Ryan keeps on spilling, "[Javier] said, 'I want to come on. Will you write me something?' How do you say no to Javier Bardem? We'll probably do it in the second half of the season."
And to our delight, the show's writers left us with this gem of information. "Our plan is to really get deeper into the characters we have and and explore them." They continue, "When we did Radio City Music Hall and Heather and Naya came out, the roof lifted off. The same thing happened with Mike Chang (Harry Shum, Jr.)."
Are you pumped for season two?
