Remember when Amanda Bynes said that she was retiring from acting? Well, now she's taking it all back. In a simple tweet on Friday, the 24-year-old actress wrote, "I've unretired."
Moments later, Amanda sent out another tweet plugging her new movie, Easy A, in which she plays Marianne. She even added a link to watch the trailer for the film, which opens in theaters on September 17.
In June, the former Nickelodeon star used her Twitter account to announce that she was throwing in the towel. "I know 24 is a young age to retire but you heard it here first I've #retired," she said. Amanda later added: "I don't love acting anymore so I've stopped doing it. I've never written the movies & tv shows I've been apart of I've only acted like the characters the producers or directors wanted me to play."
So what's the deal? Why is Amanda going back and forth about her acting career? Was this all just a publicity stunt for her new flick? Your guess is as good as ours. What do you think of Amanda's flip-flopping? Should she really retire from acting or keep doing her thing?
