'Charlie St. Cloud' Actress Amanda Crew Answers Our Questions; Calls Justin Bieber a 'Saucepot'
It's not that the 24-year-old Canadian doesn't do a great job in Charlie St. Cloud (in theaters July 30) - she plays Zac Efron's love interest, a role that would make most teenage girls flat out despise her.
It's not all kissing scenes in the movie though. We hit up a sneak peak earlier this month and can report that there is some pretty sweet sailing action as well, something Amanda is excited about.
"I'm really proud of the sailing stuff," she says. "Some of the shots I saw I was like, 'Wow, look at me go, look at my pipes!' - so just to see myself in such a physically demanding role and like, 'Yeah, you did that' because we worked really hard so it was cool to see that pay off."
We also asked Amanda about what it was like to film love scenes with Zac, but she actually copped to having a small crush on Justin Bieber, who she calls a mini Zac.
"I do have a bit of a crush on this little Bieber boy," she says. "Part of it is because he's Canadian and I'm like 'Yes, go Canada!' and I feel like he's kind of the younger Zac - he's got the hair thing. He's cute, he's a little saucepot."
