'Breaking Dawn' Part 2 Gets an Official Release Date
This news is kind of bittersweet because it marks the end of the Twilight films -- that is, if they don't make The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner or Midnight Sun into movies -- but it's also super exciting for Twi-fans, who are already eagerly awaiting the release of the first part of Breaking Dawn on November 18, 2011.
The movies will be directed by Bill Condon, and production is set to begin this October. We also know that the cast will be filming in both Vancouver and Louisiana, but whether we'll be seeing all the action in 3D is a decision that's still up in the air.
Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner will all be back for the final installment of the vampire series and, according to New York magazine, they could be taking home a fat paycheck for the last two films. The mag reports that the three stars may be paid $25 million each for part 1 and part 2 of Breaking Dawn. Cha-ching!
Remember when there was all that debate on whether the movie should be one or two films? Thankfully all that has been resolved and it seems like it'll be smooth sailing from here. We can't wait for the very first trailer! Are you excited for the release of Breaking Dawn? %Poll-50532%
