Last season on Glee, Kurt struggled to embrace his sexuality and find his place at McKinley. This often led to grape slushies in the face courtesy of the jocks and popular kids, but now all his insecurities are getting thrown out of the window because Kurt's climbing to the top of the social ladder.
When season two kicks off, New Directions will feel like complete losers and outcasts for placing third, not to mention pretty embarrassed. But there's a silver lining that will pull Kurt out of the dumps. He gets his first boyfriend and the two of them will even end up being named Prom King and King.
Gleek founder Ryan Murphy raves about Kurt's role saying, "The thing that I love is that character is education for so many people and I love that about it. I really want to see Kurt win. I want to see him be happy and be proud and be strong, and I want to see him not be a victim." He continues, "I want that character to be able to educate a whole bunch of parents and kids about what is possible. And I love the idea of Kurt being Prom King."
We're pumped for the prom episode and can't wait to see what fabulous outfits everyone will wear to the big dance. What about you?
