Kristen Stewart ruined some great photo opps by skipping out on the 2010 Teen Choice Awards on Sunday. Her Eclipse co-stars Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner managed to show up, but KStew was totally MIA. What's the deal?

Kristen had to miss out on all the TCA action because she was on location in Montreal filming her new movie On the Road. The 20-year-old actress has been cast as Marylou in the screen adaptation of the classic Jack Kerouac novel of the same name, and will reportedly shoot in the Canadian city for 45 days.

Even though she was nominated in five categories (find out if she won here), it seems Kristen had a pretty good reason to miss out on one of the biggest award shows of the year. However, Rob is currently busy filming his new flick Water For Elephants, albeit in L.A., and he was able to squeeze in the appearance. (Oops, thanks to one of our readers, we now know Rob's film wrapped on August 5.)
Ashley Greene was at the star-studded event -- she looked amazing posing with Rob and Taylor -- but it still would have been awesome to see the Twilight trio together again. Doesn't this photo need a little Bella representation?

Do you think Kristen should have attended the TCAs or do you understand why she made her new project a priority? Let us know your thoughts in the comments, and check out everything else that went down when the 2010 Teen Choice Awards airs tonight at 8 p.m. ET on Fox. %Poll-50871%
