Four teens attempting to create a video they wanted to post online should have picked a less public place to pull off their (stupid) stunt.
Three of the boys tied up their friend, wrapped him in plastic wrap (seriously!), and threw him into a car trunk...in Kmart's parking lot. Of course shoppers coming in and out of the store grew curious and then concerned. One customer called 911, but one of the four, Aaron Coutumas, claims he kept cracking up so no one should have ever taken them seriously.
The 19-year-old explains, "We were laughing the whole time. I couldn't keep a straight face. I thought it was obvious we were goofing around."
The multiple police officers who arrived on the scene didn't take their attempted recorded kidnapping so lightly, either. Parents were notified of the incident and Aaron says they weren't happy.
What do you think: Should the cops have taken more serious action besides calling their parents?
