Have you read the all of the books in the The Vampire Diaries series? Are you obsessed with the show? Well, here's some news that will surely put a smile on your face. HarperCollins and Alloy Entertainment have teamed up to bring you a brand-new trilogy of books inspired by the hit CW drama.

'Stefan's Diaries: #1: Origins' is the first novel in the 'Stefan's Diaries' series, and it will explain how the once-close brothers Stefan and Damon Salvatore became sworn enemies. Set during the Civil War, Stefan and Damon are torn apart by their love for the same woman, Katherine, whose dangerous ways spark an eternal love triangle.

It seems that original author L.J. Smith didn't pen this series, but since her books started this whole 'Vampire Diaries' craze, we have no doubt that the novels in 'Stefan's Diaries' will be just as compelling as fans hope they will be. 'Stefan's Diaries: #1: Origins' will be available in bookstores nationwide this November, just two months after the new season of The Vampire Diaries airs on September 9.
What do you think of the 'Origins' book cover? Are you excited for the new series or are you happy with the original books and watching the CW show? Let us know what you think in the comments. %Poll-51350%
