Justin Bieber is just like us -- he gets sick, too. Unfortunately, the 16-year-old singer was forced to cancel his appearance at the New York State Fair on Sunday because of it. Sure, his fans were super disappointed, but so was the Canadian superstar.
"Really don't know what to twitter...i'm getting rest right now and trying to recover from the not so good news from the doctor..." he tweeted. "I'm gonna be ok just need 2 rest but i wanted all of u 2 know i never want to let any of u down. ever. i really appreciate all the kind words."
The State Fair's website stated :"...Due to an illness, Justin Bieber has re-scheduled his Sunday, Aug. 29 concert at the New York State Fair to Wednesday, Sept. 1, at 7pm." Justin's Manchester, N.H. date, originally planned for Wednesday has also been rescheduled for December 9, and tickets for both shows will be honored.
The pop star has been talking up his east coast dates for the last few days, including his big performance in New York City's Madison Square Garden, where parts of his 3-D movie will be filmed. JB has been battling a bug since early August, so we have a feeling he was advised to take it easy, especially since he has such a huge show scheduled for Tuesday.
Although, he was able to make it to the Newark show on Saturday, the New York State Fair just wasn't in the cards and Justin tweeted that being sick and having to cancel the Syracuse date "really sucks." Are you bummed for Justin? Leave a get well wish for him in the comments below. %Poll-52065%
