Like many of his musical peers, Plug In Stereo, aka Trevor Dahl, has built a loyal fanbase with the help of the Internet. At 16, he toured with the likes of Never Shout Never and The Ready Set, and now the talented Portland, Ore. native is ready to unveil his first single, 'Oh Darling' from his debut album, 'Nothing to Something.'

'Oh Darling' is actually a duet between the 17-year-old singer-songwriter and fellow artist Cady Groves, which has amassed over 600,000 plays on MySpace to date. Although die-hard fans have heard the love song before, today marks its official release date, and to celebrate, the curly-haired teen has filmed a special acoustic performance of the song, just for JSYK.

"Right now, the only thing I want in life is for people to hear my music," Trevor says, and we have no doubt that his wish will come true. In high school, the guitarist dabbled with different bands, but "was tired of the fake, closed-minded attitudes that a lot of kids my age shared" and eventually focused more on his more "honest" and "organic" solo efforts. The result is a catchy blend of pop/rock, which embodies clever storyteller lyrics that any listener can get into.
Watch Trevor's exclusive acoustic performance and listen to the full version of the single, featuring Cady Groves, below. 'Oh Darling' is available on iTunes now, and Plug In Stereo's debut album, 'Nothing to Something,' will be released this fall.
